Oxford offers a dedicated nine-month interdisciplinary MSt in Medieval Studies, in which students are given the chance to study a range of medieval languages, alongside core skills such as palaeography and codicology. A range of departments welcome applications from prospective doctoral students interested in researching aspects of the early medieval British and Irish past: History, English, Archaeology (and Archaeological Science), Music, Medieval and Modern Languages, and Theology.
